Paul Cadman
Chief Executive (CMT)

Chartered FCIPD

Paul is a Member of the Board for the Institute for Apprenticeships. Paul was appointed to this post in January 2017.

Paul is HR Director of a Midlands based retail chain and holds 5 further Directorships. He is the Lead Assessor for CIPD Programmes.

A former International Athlete, Paul still holds the UK all time fastest 10 mile record for under 23's of 47 mins 50 secs.

Paul still enjoys his running, training virtually everyday and competing regularly.

Paul is also a NAS Apprentice Ambassador.

Emma Horne
Deputy Chief Executive

Emma is an L&D, OD, and recruitment specialist and a highly experienced leadership and management trainer.

Emma originally acquired her skills in the banking & financial services sector before moving into a senior management role in a large nationwide charity.

Emma enjoys gardening, many different sports and keeps fit by swimming and running.

Neil Anderson
Head of L & D

Neil has worked as a L&D professional, mainly in the Financial Services and a UK Training Provider, for over 18 years. He graduated as Graphic Designer before changing career and qualifying as a Mortgage Consultant which led him into training. Neil is Head of L & D Training.

In his spare time, Neil enjoys spending time with his family and dog, cooking, motorcycling and enjoys the odd rollercoaster or two.

Wendy Allen
Head of HR

Chartered MCIPD

Wendy's Career in Retail of 30 years includes Operational Management since 1991, delivering Leadership Training to Store Management Teams in Taiwan in 2000 and various HR Management roles in large retail organisations.

Wendy's interests include playing tennis, running and is a recently qualified yoga instructor.

Gemma Aiuto-Turner
Head of Aviation

Gemma is a member of The UK Operations Managers Association and also a registered trainer to deliver their courses. With over 15 years experience in Aviation Flight Operations. A member of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development specialising in coaching, mentoring and training. Gemma is the Head of Aviation Training.

In her spare time, you will find Gemma either running around with her 3 dogs or on her Yoga mat.

Tom Bartlett
Central Team Manager

Tom began with CMT as a HR Higher Apprentice studying towards the CIPD Level 5 Applied Diploma in Human Resource Management. Upon completion in April 2017, Tom now works in the capacity of Central Team Manger

Tom is responsible for managing the ILR Returns for CMT as well managing the central office functions and internal HR matters.

Craig McNaughton
Pastoral Support & Functional Skills Team Leader/DSL

Craig is a qualified Functional Skills Trainer with five years’ experience of training and supporting people in employment across both the public and private sector, working for Shropshire Council as well as private training providers. Craig has also operated as a Designated Safeguarding Lead and has a strong interest in Special Education Needs, finding strategies and solutions to help make education accessible to all.

Away from work Craig has 3 young children and enjoys doing various activities with them. He also has a passion for sport, good food and, as a Film and Television graduate, the cinema.

Michael Eccleston
HR Consultant Trainer

Michael has over twenty five years experience within HR.

Following graduation through the CIPD in 1995 he developed his knowledge and skills in a variety of HR managerial/specialist positions within Royal Mail before moving into the private and third sector.

He spends his spare time enjoying football, listening to music and playing the guitar.

Carolyn Swain
HR Consultant Trainer

I have worked in HR for over 25 years - initially as an HR Officer and most recently as Associate Director of HRBP, within the Pharmaceutical Industry. I am a Chartered Member of CIPD.

Tracey Green
HR Consultant Trainer

Tracey has over 15 years experience in HR and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.

She has a breadth of HR knowledge gained from many different sectors including Logistics, Retail, Hospitality and Manufacturing.

In her spare time she loves to travel and had visited in excess of 50 counties in every continent bar Antartica. She also regularly volunteers with Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Hazel Langley
L&D Consultant Trainer

Hazel’s first L&D role was in 1991. Her experience spans private, public and third sector organisations in manufacturing, logistics, automotive, retail, environmental and facilities management industries as well as trade association and charitable organisations.

A previous CIPD Level 7 student of Crosby Management Training, Hazel is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and in 2011, set-up a niche L&D Consultancy business focused on digital learning technologies which she still directs.

Hazel has held senior roles in HR but is happiest when being immersed in L&D with the opportunity to help others develop into value-adding, commercial thinking Practitioners, Consultants and Professionals.

In her spare time Hazel enjoys watching live theatre, comedy and music, spending time with family and friends and the odd game of pool.

Samantha Turner
Functional Skills Trainer

Sam is a qualified teacher with 11 years experience in primary and secondary schools. She graduated from Birmingham university with three degrees: a BA Hons in Theology, a PGCE and an Master of Education degree (Med). In addition to her class teacher role she has been head of Religious Studies, Head of science and ICT coordinator. She has also been on the board of governors and has also raised thousands of pounds for charity as head of the Parent teacher Association.

Sam has played an important role in the community too by being voted in as the secretary and treasurer to a local social club. Sam also serves the local community in rescuing and fostering cats for Animal House Rescue.

In her spare time Sam loves to cook international cuisine and tend to her flowers and veg patch. She is also an avid fan of ballet and theatre too. However, her biggest passion is traveling. She has visited over 50 countries and continues to tick them off her list.

Joanne Cadman
Admin Support and College/AO Co-ordinator

Joanne is the Admin Support and College/AO Co-ordinator for Crosby Management Training and she is also a qualified Assessor.

Joanne is qualified to assess Business Administration where she has over 30yrs experience in Sales, Customer Service and Business Administration.

Joanne has spent most of her working life in the Private sector working for a large organisation where she gained many of her working skills.

Outside of work Joanne likes to keep fit and active and enjoys all outdoor activities including, hill walking, cycling and jogging. She is also a keen gardener and has a love for nature.

Samantha Edwards
Business & Accounts Assistant

I am a real animal lover with previous work and qualification history in Animal Management & Veterinary Medicine. I had a career change into Sales and Marketing, having 3 years experience working in the education sector.

I am creative, full of energy and all things arty. Currently studying BA Business Management (Marketing) with the Open University.

My interests include; online gaming, playing a range of instruments and animation. You may also see me running around with my dog when I'm not providing my expertise in the office.

Lily O'Brien
Business and Marketing Apprentice
Lily is one of the newest members of the CMT team and is currently doing an apprenticeship alongside Crosby in Business Admin and is excited to see what her future career holds. She previously studied Psychology and Applied Science and has worked in different industries such as Retail and Hospitality. In her spare time Lily loves being with animals, especially her dogs Pablo and Jessie. She also loves to ski and wishes to travel and ski in many more countries. Another thing Lily enjoys is going out with her friends and shopping!
Hazel Imrie
Hazel is a HR generalist with a background in learning and development. She has held multiple L&D roles in the public and charity sector where she gained her Level 5 CIPD with ourselves, before moving on to become a Regional HR Operations Advisor. Now based in Northern Ireland, Hazel runs a hardware and gas distribution business with her partner. In her spare time Hazel volunteers for local charities and enjoys reading and walking her dog.
Emma Sansom
Marketing Consultant

Emma started working with us in October 2019 as a Marketing Associate for Crosby Management Training, Crosby Aviation and Crosby Butchery.

With 10 years’ experience, and her own successful marketing company based in Leamington Spa, we could see the opportunity to meet and join forces!

Emma loves to help businesses (B2B and B2C) develop a marketing strategy, guaranteed to drive results. With marketing experience in the L&D world, Emma was the perfect fit for us.

She graduated with a 2:1 BA Joint Honours (Marketing and Media) Degree accredited of Leeds University in 2012. She has since managed numerous marketing teams and departments for both small businesses and global corporate PLC’s and she started her own Marketing Business in June 2019 called Flamingo Marketing Strategies.

When Emma isn’t saving the business world (one company at a time), you can find her on stage performing with local theatre companies, out socialising with her friends and travelling the world with her loved ones!

Adrian Stokes
Business Development Associate

Adrian started his career in L&D over 26 years ago, having worked in various roles as Practitioner, L&D Manager and MD of a training business before semi-retiring. He has a passion for L&D and Business Development complementing his role here at Crosby Management Training.

In his spare time, Adrian enjoys family life, motorcycling, skiing and reading non-fiction.

George Araklitis

George is an HR generalist and recruitment specialist with experience in the U.K., Greece and Cyprus markets.

George originally acquired his skills in the hospitality industry with Marriott International before relocating to Cyprus, firstly in recruitment and then as a HR generalist within retail and, most recently, financial services.

George enjoys travelling and fine dining.


Our former colleague and driving force for many years lost her fight with cancer on 26th Oct 2017. Sue is remembered with our annual Sue Thompson memorial award(s) for the best CIPD student.

Sue Thompson
Senior Consultant

Sue is a qualified HR practitioner. She has been involved in training for many years, working as Director of Management in a Further Education College before joining Crosby Training.

Sue specialises in Diplomas, Management Training and is a tutor/assessor on CIPD programmes.

Outside work Sue is a keen cook and spends much of her leisure time preparing and cooking speciality dishes.
