CIPD FOUNDATION LEVEL QUALIFICATIONS (LEVEL 3)

These are perfect if you want to acquire a wide range of relevant practical skills in HR and development. You can choose to follow a HR or L&D pathway and you also have the opportunity to study individual foundation level awards to either start or top up your HR and L&D knowledge.

The qualifications are for those who:

  • Are aspiring to or embarking on a career in HR or Learning & Development
  • Are working in the field of HR or L&D in a support role and wish to develop their knowledge and skills
  • Have the responsibility for HR and L&D activities and decisions within the organisation without a specialist function.

There are different combinations of units. The example shown here is for the Certificate and Diploma in Human Resources Practice.

CORE UNITS:

  • Developing Yourself as an Effective Human Resources or L&D Practitioner
  • Understanding Organisations and the Role of HR
  • Recording, Analysing and Using HR Information

GROUP A: OPTIONAL UNITS (Certificate minimum of 12 credits. Diploma minimum of 21 credits)

  • Resourcing Talent (6 Credits)
  • Supporting Good Practice in Performance and Reward Management (6 Credits)
  • Contributing to the Process of Job Analysis (3 Credits)
  • Supporting Change within Organisations (3 Credits)

GROUP B: OPTIONAL UNITS  (Certificate maximum of 6 credits. Diploma maximum of 6 Credits)

  • Identifying Learning and Development Needs (3 Credits)
  • Designing Learning and Development Activities (6 Credits)
  • Delivering Learning and Development Activities (6 Credits)
  • Evaluating Learning and Development Activities (3 Credits)
  • Supporting Individual Learning through Coaching and Mentoring (6 Credits)

ASSESSMENT:

Assessment is through producing evidence from the workplace to show competence, writing statements to explain the evidence and completing a professional discussion with the tutor about the evidence presented.

TUTORIALS:

These take place in the workplace on a one to one basis. If requested tutorials can be at our offices or in a hotel. Tutorials can also be offered using SKYPE. A typical pattern would be a monthly tutorial lasting about 1.5 hours

CIPD MEMBERSHIP:

The Foundation Certificate and Diploma give Associate membership.

 COST:

Award (2-12 Credits) = £500-£1000 + VAT

Certificate ( 28 Credits/6 units) = £2750 + VAT

Diploma ( 37 Credits/8 Units) = £3250 + VAT


CIPD Foundation Learning & Development Certificate/Diploma (Level 3)

If you are looking for a practical introduction to the theory and skills that underpin learning and development then the foundation course is the one for you.

Foundation Diploma in Learning and Development (38 Credits) all of the above and 2 more optional units

  • Supporting Individual Learning through Coaching and Mentoring (6 credits)
